I would like to begin a succession game

I'm afraid I can't play on a difficulty higher than Prince though

How about try out king for once?

You will have help from others

How about large, medium, varied, wet, warm, 5 and raging

And which bersion you have installed, I only have TOT at the time but I can convert to MGE if prefered.

please not wet, id rather it arid and archipelago, preferably FW because the MGE download wont work

but we all still have to have the same version, tell your dad its safe to download, i scanned the files with my norton 2002, and they are clean

It's not because of virus reasons he won't let me download, it's 'cos he doesn't want me to have too many games and play too much on them, which I don't get 'cos I just play Civ2 the whole time. I put it down to 'Parentally Discipline Your Child Syndrome'.

He would appear to have Classic. Well CJ, if you are planning on playing a succession game then you'll have to download the save file from this site anyway so your Dad probably won't let you. If he does then just download the expansion pack as well.
Good luck folks! Why don't you play a scenario? Don't know which one.... Underdark maybe? I won't be playing this but will be looking in now and again to gloat when your cities are taken by the barbs and applaud when you win them back.

I like wet because I can change jungle to grassland before I can change plains to grassland
