I have been thinking about one possible upgrade to Foreign Advisor recently... I am not able to create it myself, but here it is and open for discussion or inspiration:
How about enabling the Foreign Advisor to also show attitudes (not only pacts) between various civilizations? When I want to know, what one civilization thinks of another, I have to ask in diplomacy dialogue, which is time-consuming. Also, it would be nice to have some reminder of current political "blocs" and foreign relations handy.
The idea itself is:
Would it be possible to modify the Foreign Advisor to take attitudes into account and show leaders, who like each other, closer and vice versa? The length of the line should be determined by the average of their respective attitudes. Possibly with some equalizing checks and balances to prevent overlaping of icons, sending worst enemies offscreen and problems in location of civs if, for example, two enemies share one friend they both love, which draws them together in terms of the chart.
