Beyond the inability to reduce others' carbon, climate change is irreversible it seems- so once you accept that the AI will flood out the world by having standing armies of oil using units, there's no point in caring about emissions.

The carbon recapture project is actually a technology to capture diplomatic favor particles from the air, in a process that also happens to gather up some co2.

I love like the title of this thread sounds like a proper question about real global warming irl.

I think there’s a question as to whether there could be some coercion to force other civs to reduce their emissions...
