actully, when you apply the patch it replaces default .biq/.bic file as well. I have experienced the same feeling when I upgraded from Civ3 v1.17 to 1.21

yeah but the ones Ive found you cant change, like the pcx entries for saltpeter are saltpetresmall.pcx
