In civilopedia, button shows but nothing else

I've modded a unit, and the art shows up in the game, but in the civilopedia, all that shows up is the button up in the top left corner. No info, not the animated art, nothing. What am I doing wrong? I have scoured the xml files but nothing out of the ordinary is evident.

Any help is appreciated.

It's most likely brocken animations - i.e. Nif and KFM mismatch.

The KFM references a nif file. This nif file needs to be present in the same folder the KFM is. If you (or the creator) renamed the nif, made a new one, whatever,.... , then you need to replace that nif.
