In-Game interface does not appear

Fairly simple, I can start a game, but the interface doesn't show up. No minimap, no bar at the bottom, no menu buttons at the top, nothing. I know it's not a hardware problem because I meet the requirements and this is the first time I've had this problem. The game worked fine before.

You must have accidentally hidden it. Try ALT + I to get it back again.

Nope, sorry. Not that easy. At this point, I'm considering just reinstalling it.

Anything in custom assets?

Are you running a mod?

There's stuff in the custom assets folder, but I'm not running a mod right now.

Rename the custom assets folder to unused custom assets.

Create a new custom assets folder that is empty.

Does that fix it?
