Not that I don't like you guys , but we could always use some more people here.

I was thinking that we should invite some people to join us. I know some Hall of Fame players and I was thinking about inviting them, but I don't really know how to write a good PM to do so. But then I thought, maybe it's a good idea to have a coordinated effort to invite players. So if we all come together here and think of a nice letter, and then we all send some to forum members we know, we might be able to get a lot of new members.

What do you all think about that?

I am all in for this idea. If we could get some of the really good players on our team it would help a lot, and just more activity in general wouldn't hurt. We actually need newbies as well, asking those obvious questions that everybody else hadn't thought of.

The Multi-Team Demo Game is a very active swift moving 5 team competition and this is your invitation to join. It is 375 AD and the innovians (Arabs) are in a very close race for second place on our way to world domination. The team has a small core of dedicated players but we would like some new insights or observations. Feel free to share your tips or learn from us, after all we sent you this invitation so we must be pretty friendly right?

Trivia fact: Apr 20 will be the one year anniversary of Innovia’s first turn.

Here is what I sent. I also think we should start an anaversary thread in the main forum.

On Apr 20 of last year you were part of a team that settled Wheelville for Team Innovia in the MTDG. This Apr 20th will be the 5,000th anniversary of the founding of that city. Since then we have grown into the most populous and powerful nation on earth. As is fitting for such a great nation we will not celebrate with fireworks and parades, but with a real demonstration of our power as we invade our disrespectful southern neighbors.

We send this anniversary message of thanks for the solid foundation you provided. While many of you have not been active of late, you will always be welcomed to comment on current policies or simply to watch a great invasion.

Well, I must say that I'm impressed with where you guys have gotten the team so far. I certainly can't promise that I'll be an active member of the team from here on, but you did a good job of getting me back to the forums. I may even be able to ask some of those newbie questions that you guys were mentioning.
