I realize I could just try this, but I'm not sure I want to go back and reload if the consequences are . . . unpleasant. What happens if you do an inquisition that would drive out the religion of a holy city? Does it just not take?
I'm asking, by the way, because, although I wouldn't have founded AV by research, I have their holy city. (I found a savant while exploring an early dungeon.) This is relevant because Hyborem is in the world now, and I don't want to risk him stealing one of my cities. All of the others are AV free, but I'm not sure what would happen and thought I'd check here first. Would I still have the Stigmata of the Unborn, for one thing?
