Installing a scenario

Hey guys I've been trying to install This for some time, but I have NO idea what I'm doing, I've tried multiple times on many different occasions. I have winRar, and I have HoI 2 on steam if that helps with figuring it out. Thanks :/

You're supposed to open up the .rar file and copy everything inside it into the folder where your game is installed where it will overwrite all the other files. As per the installation instructions given in that post.

Well I did that and the scenario opened, however it says it cannot read one of the scripts, and it tells me to abort, ignore, or retry, all of which exit the game. This comes up after I choose a country and try to play

That's my problem. To whomever helps me fix it, I promise a position in the AAR I plan to write

You are probably better off asking in the mod's thread then.

I think I found my problem, I'm just going to re install HOI and that should fix it ^_^

Is it a vanilla copy of HOI2? Might be a problem with the files that the guy gave you.. try going to db/tech/naval_tech.txt - escort carrier line 1267 and see if there are any apparent typos?
