installing conquest error

i feel rather stupidi feel rather stupidi have civ 3 not patched version i get conquest which im so happy and it wont install cuz i dont have the mark version of civ 3 what the hell dose that mean oh yea.

IT TrIES TO INSTALL TO ATARI-INFROgames I DONT HAVE CIV 3 THERE can some one help

and my civ 3 which works is only in infrogames not the atari one did i do something worng

and when i changed the directori it says civ 3 dose not exist

the only reason why it might do that is because i screwed the civ 3 file that you can edit with the editor i cant load a game it dosent go to any other many but the main but i dident delete any thing can some one help


Edit:No wait its your version of civilization is not compatible with acitve mark or something stupid me i should have download the latest patch along time ago i will go download it now hope it works

You're not making sense....can you start over? Did you get a d/l version (hopefully legal) of Civ3 or Conquests? Is that why it's not working?

First - it's rather hard to read your post... (please improve your grammar...)
Second - Stop making multiple posts. You can edit instead.

Ok, do this - uninstall EVERYTHING.

Now, start with the vanilla Civ3 disc, and install that.
Then, install PTW (if you have it). After that, install Civ3 Conquests. (It patches vanilla Civ3 and PTW automatically). You'll have to patch C3C to 1.22. Also, what's "Active Mark"? I never heard of that..


Also, when you reinstall, you can browse to your correct Civ3 directory. What operating system are you using, BTW?
