Intercepting fighters

It was just an idea - too complicated, perhaps. I don't know anymore  I think that 1-turn-activation answer looks quite good...at least it explains your scenario. Definitely, I'll focus on this issue in my future games.

For now, I'll rather play C3C Mesopotamia hoping that there is not too many bombers. :)

So is this the conclusion or is it still in the air? That it takes 1 turn to activate? Interesting to know.

Download the scenario and draw your own conclusion. It only takes a few minutes to download and test. If you agree with the conclusion than it makes three ;)

Edit: Sorry. I see that you've done your own testing in the other thread. Same conclusion (even for city-based fighters), so that's good.

And very nice ones, I think. Reading test result, I had to hold my breath, heart stopped beating. Warspite2, you should consider a career of a war reporter. ;)

It was so engaging and detailed I almost did not feel necessary to try and replay myselft. Of course I did when you invested the effort and it is good the results prove the same things...

 Never thought of a war reporter. Believe it or not, one of the test scenarios (the last one I did not post) was kind of giving me ideas for an actual scenario. Anyway thanks for the compliments :)

Try using mobile sam sites or AA guns to protect your cities .
build airports so your planes won't out of fuel .
send aircraft carriers across the sea , they can carry bombers and jet fighters.
fortify your fighters in your cities. attack the enemy fighters etc when near.
