I hiope Kanny kan kan kan doesn't mind, but he seems rather wrapped up in his own HOI2 AAR, so I thought we might pick this up again :D

Likely I will be using the Grey Wolves mod, to make things mor eexciting and historically accurate, and I will try to update whenever I can.

So, who's interested in joining the Kriegsmarine's finest, as we sail the Atlantic, and send tonnage to the deep, to starve that cigar-chomping, overeweight, incoherent, alcoholic, schwein-ugly clown Churchill into submission?

Damn English, nicking our AAR's.

I couldn't possibly refuse a personal invitation from the commander. Permission to come aboard and see what sort of sorry state the previous crew have left the boat in, Herr Kaleun? :salute:

Come aboard, chief, you bunk has been saved, but I think some dumkopf managed to jam the diving planes to "sink as deep as possible", so I think you'd better get your boys on that.

Dark, damp and constant danger? Where do I sign!

Any position is fine, preferably an officers post.

Which get's more action (both ze beautivul Swedish ladies and ze shooting ze enemy)? Flakoffizier or Artillerieoffizier?

PrinceScamp reporting in!

(Does anyone else now have "in the navy" stuck in their heads?)

Funkmeister Icekommander reporting in for duty. Funk distributations will begin posthumously ;).

I would assume Artillerieoffizier, especially early in the war. Does the U-boat even have a flak cannon at the start of the 1939 campaign (I'm guessing that's where we're starting?)

I'm playing "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" right now, but that's just me. Tells me a lot about you, PrinceScamp ;)

I really really hope that Vista doesn't bugger up SH3 :/

Darth, which officer role would you like?

Scamp, I'll put you as Artillery, but as the war goes on, it wil be used less and less. If you want, I can combine FlaK and Artillery into a single role?

Combining them might be the best idea. We can always have a second-in-command if someone else also wants to eb on the deck guns.

I thought Tipperary was more of a marching song/for the infantry?

Yeah, Even if Kan loses the SH3 AAR he still has his Rome and British AARs :p

I'll take navigator, as its the only thing i can do reasonably well

Ich bin der Koch.

And in the likely chance babelfish failed, I will be the cook. ;)

what does grey wolves change? What year will this start in? i tend to find 1939/early1940 pretty dull in all honesty.

can you sign me up for medic (not exactly sure what thats gonna involve... but what the hey)

Grey wolves in theory makes it more realistic, and also adds historicxal missions and such, if it would work instead of basically blowing up my SHIII over and ovber, so I might have tio do the standard campaign.

Medic is kinda an auxilliary role, as the game tends not to simulate wounding etc. so Soundman would prolly be amuch better role, as the captain is basically his . .. .. .. .. . when underwater. ^^
