On some adviser interface screens, such as the civics adviser, I can't see the whole screen because the dimensions are wrong, and there's about an inch worth of stuff I can't see. How can I make it so that I can see the whole thing?

If your computer's resolution is lower than 1280*768, see this post for a temporary workaround. Otherwise, check your graphics settings.
