I don't know much about the Replicators; outside of the new Ori vessels though, Stargate isn't too impressive in a relative sense. And I don't think they have numbers on their side either.

I mean, the Ancients lost a war against the Wraith, no? And the Wraith ain't that impressive.

edit: on fighters. Fighters seem to represent an ability to engage in seek & destroy missions. Carrier ships can rely on stealth and use much cheaper fighters to do scouting.

And since the wraith is on the same side as earth, numbers isn't a problem. The questions is, how hard would it be to kill a wraith prior? Or better, an army of them?
