After pondering this for a moment, I came up with this (I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find the thread...):
Great Wonder: Internet
Spreads the knowledge : the Great Library of modern age (if two civs know it, you know it too, though this should be to all civs, so that eventually everyone would know everything the same time...)
Commercial: greatly increases moneyflow to the civ
could also affect the spying by lowering costs or making it easier...
