Guys we need to decide which tech to research-:

Religion - Do we want to go for one of the early religions if so which one??
I think we should try to found at least two of the seven religions for the purpose of shrine gold which will allow to boost sci rate.

Resources - AH or BW, Metal would certainly be useful in military terms especially if one of us finds ourselves against either Darius or Huayana early.

Any other possibly aren't necessary first off unless you think other wise.

I have currently set to Polytheism but can change before end of first turn.

Also what would you guys suggest best communication method, forum thread, e-mail, private message??
We should be aware that although others would probably not bother but the possibilty of other teams spying on any discussion.

I think we need our own forum, which means we might need to set it up ourselves. I doubt that TF would grant us a forum just for this, but we could ask.

That does not work that well in game, because you need to have every member of the team to be present to see what happens in the chat. It is best to have a private area for us to get the important diplo and discussion done.

CH, Good work on the forum thing I would advise we definitely use that to discuss in game strategy etc if it is password protected.
I tried to start a strategy thread in the private forum but didn't seem to work not sure if it was something I was doing wrong or not.
Whilst we should use this for discussion we need to come together before end of first turn on the question of initial tech research. Whilst I am happy to go for my choice I am open for debate on it but we should all be on the same path by end of first turn.
Sonny, I assume that Mark1977 is yourself, It did not seem as if you had chosen a tech to research when I played my turn so you will need to go back in and chose one. Also Whip requested that we use a team tag in brackets after our names so people can easily distinguish which team we are in. You just need to enter it alongside your name in the intial log in screen where you enter the game IP.
