INVINCIBLE unit !

You can't forget Mr. T--he's helluva tough!

This thread does make me think of Soldat's "Rambomatch" game mode, though. In it, all the players try to get the Bow of Rambo: upon obtaining it, you get health-regenerating powers; the Bow itself fires both regular and exploding arrows, both of which will kill in one hit; and you're the only one who can rack up any significant number of points.

Of course, there'd also be a mob of other people shooting you with everything from Desert Eagles to the ginormous Minigun from the movie Predator.

How boring would having an invincible unit be? just build a couple and game over, its like building Geisha in Shogun Total War.

That didn't happen. They mechanics of c&c wouldn't allow it. The last bullets would have hit the floor where the ore truck was.

Well it did happen in front of my eyes, and 2 of my friends eyes. We laughed so hard so it is unlikely I remember it wrong.

Maybe Tanya's bullets has a penetrating nature? Not sure.

uhm no I'm also pretty shure that c&c (atleast RA) doesn't work that way. It basicly is a 2'd game, units don't have hight and if things go over them its because they aren't aimed at them.

cheers

I had 2 bazooka men shooting at something in c&c, when it died, the shot from the 2nd bazooka men went further and killed the first bazooka men. It also happens with grenades and flamethrowers; in the first few missions, when i cant build tanks, i made an horde of infantry, and most of them died by friendly fire. Now 20 tanyas are just stupid, but they used guns right? I never saw friendly fire with guns in c&c. Oh well it could happen.

I have notthing to add to the original topic discussion :)

Mmm. Well being superpowerful certainly would get boring. But what about a Great Person of the military nature. We have Engineers, Scientists, Artists. having said that, I'm not sure how well it would work - extra experience points for units built in that city if the Great (Military) person joins the city? Or attack bonus for the units in the same tile as the great (Military) person? Does anyone else have suggestions here? Maybe someone wants to shoot me down (politely) I haven't thought it through very carefully.

I totally agree, I hated those freaking geishas; how many ninjas did I lose to those hussies...

I personally would like a Superman Unit. Send him to fly around the Earth and reverse time, so I can go back and fix all the screw ups I inevitably made earlier in the game.
