Hi All,
First time poster, long time lurker.
Here is a strange bug I have not seen in this forum, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced it.
None of the "animal" bonus resources show up. This includes cow, horse, pig, sheep, elephant, deer, and fur. I can see their shadows (which even move around), but the animals themselves are invisible. All of the other resources seem to be normal. Screenshot is attached.
It dosen't effect playability. I can just hover the mouse over the tile to see what's there, but it is very annoying.
I'm running Civ4 on a ThinkPad T41 with the ATI Radeon Mobility 7500. On my first install, I had to update the video drivers to fix the "Dark Terrain" and "Eyes and Teeth" leaderhead problems reported elsewhere in this forum Thanks CivFanatics
I've re-installed Civ4 from scratch and tried the various levels of graphics rendering in the Options.
I peeked at the XML and I have a hunch this has something to do with the .NIF and .KFM files. I've tried manually unpacking the .FPK files with PakBuild and placing them into Assets\Art\Terrain to no avail.
Anyway, I've enjoyed lurking around CFC and look forward to participating!
