Invisible worker running across ocean

Worker graphic is not showing. Furthermore, when I ordered the worker to build a mine, it appeared on another continent to the west and walked all the way across the ocean to get back to the spot. Once it did that it became visible again and started building the mine.

I don't see your problem then, he builds the mine does he .

On a more serious note it seems that the Workers haven't got a working check for terrain type. Regardless of the terrain it just seems to calculate the shortest route and takes it.
