My 2 cents -
Civilization, but IOT (oops, I created that)
historical nations all have 2023 tech and are at the same time
something like that "Hero High" thread that Angst created.

bro I appreciate your enthusiasm but we're all in our 20s now and don't have time for many of these games anymore, you should probably find another community if you're interested in actually pursuing this hobby

feel free to pilfer anything you want from our threads but know that, at the height of our power, we never pulled from market tested tabletop strategy games when we really, desperately, should have done

I meme that the best game experiences I had here were when I completely broke open games and dominated, but that was a high that only lasted awhile. my most treasured memories from this are when I actively plotted some dumb jank with my friends to upend the balance of power. good luck finding that.
