i thought the city will benefit from the bonus but it turns out every city have the same food and shield?

Yes, except when you are agricultural and found the city nearby a river.

Actually.. seriously, read the FAQ and some tutorials for beginners. THis is the basic of the basic.

it took a while before I learned not to build on a cow or wheat.

The AI does have the unerring ability to accurately predict where special resources will be found and build a city on that site far in advance of the resource appearance. Also, the number of strategic resources of each type is based in the number of civilizations in the game if you are working off of a randomly generated map. You will have between +1 to -1 of the number of civilizations in the game of each strategic resource.

I think you don't need to be a "menu guy" if the whole point of an Agricultural civilization is the food bonus when nearby a river.

Or maybe when you say "prefere to explore it by myself" you mean "I don't even read what the traits mean".

pfft dude i just asked a question for a friendly discussion, whats with all the attack and hostility, some people like to play like a pro some people like to play just for fun, just a game relax

If it is a strategic resource that I need, and it is located on the coast, I build right on top of it and the rush a harbor to get connected to the rest of my cities as soon as possible. Once I have airports, I do the same and rush the airport. I tend to do the same if I need Ivory for the Statue or Zeus. As I prefer Seafaring Civilizations, I normally concentrate on coastal cities, but I also mod the map and resources a bit.

Yeah, sorry about that, although it was not my intention to attack I may have sound agressive.

But seriously, I believe you should read at least what each trait does. Of course it's up to you.

When you normally start a game you can extend turn play, but when I try in a Scenario file it doesn't allow me to change the 540 turns?

Thanks for any advice, been years since playing, cant seem to remember?

You should be able to change that in Scenario Properties, as I have a couple of scenarios where I have the turn limit set to 1000, with the starting time of 1000AD.

Edit Note: You need to check the time limit box in the Scenario Properties Menu to change the turn limit setting.
