Is it possible to skip a music track?

I generally love the Civ V music. It's thematic and interesting for each of the civs. I particularly love the unique music for each of the leaders. However, some of the European wartime music tracks are super depressing and seem to last forever. I find it's sometimes possible to get stuck in a musical rut if you're trapped in an endless war that you can't get out of.

At times like that, I wish it were possible to switch tracks, or go back to the leader music. Does anyone know if there's a way to do this? I tried turning the music down to zero and back up again, but apparently the track keeps playing in the background (even if muted). Is there a hot-key to actually mute the music like ctrl+m did for Civ IV?

I'm new here, so I apologize if this has been answered before or if there's a more appropriate thread to post in. Thanks!

I believe War phase in the game has it's music seriously bugged where it begins to loop in a single music if you are ever approached by another leader.

Hopefulyl they'll fix this with BNW, but yes, I'm just as irritated by that glitch as you are, in fact, i hate the fact that there's is "Either" music, i think they should seperate those songs into either Peace or War and just keep them there.

You could always quicksave and then reload the save and it will restart your civ's war theme... that'll mix it up
