I'm waiting for this mod to launch since forever at this moment. It is launched? Because at after so much time i'm basically ready to get into Civ 7 and that's it.

it's still in development but you can get newest version if you write to Rhye he will send you file with next update.

Rhye, we'd all love an update. The chilly reception for Civ 7 means one of three things:
(a) The retreat of OG Civ fans to prior series makes fleshing out your mod for Civ 5 more palatable and we should continue to cheerlead you
(b) You think you can fix Civ 7's ugly flaws with your vision and design and you will become Firaxis' white knight to resuscitate a game perilously trending negative on Steam, or
(c) The frosty reception of Civ 7 has led you to focus on other games, or other things that aren't games, and we should let you be until you wish to resurface.

Best wishes!

Yeah, I myself bounced off of Civ VII's ages system because it reminded me of Civ IV's Rhye's and Fall, but not as good :). So, I sent Rhye a DM two weeks ago, maybe others have done so as well, hoping to play this. In any case I won't be playing much of Civ VII anytime soon.

Hi everyone,
A few months ago, discussing with Rhye, I understood he still considers the mod like an alpha or beta version in its current state. He is always open for new testers each time he releases a new version but does not check the forum when he's in a busy period.
For me once the victories are implemented, along with stability (and advisor) it could be released.

This is the state published on the 97 version:
  • Map: 100%
  • Autoplay mechanism: 100%
  • Civs roster and minor civs: 100%
  • Advanced autoplay start: 100%

Yes, because casuals bouncing off 7 in favor of the much-lauded 5 will likely check Steam Workship for mods. An issue, though, is that lots of mods are lost in the morass of slight tweaks and unserious joke civs being added. There would need to be a way to juice the rating on Rhye's mod to have people see it. We should all subscribe to it to give it a bump

It is definitively worth a shot, however I would first try to complete the UHV goals for France, Spain, China and Russia which seem to be very popular civs. It would also be really cool if more developers would flock after its release on Steam, right now the release rate of new versions is rather slow.
