Does the demo have a save option? I hope the full game does. Also is there a way to zoom the camera in and out?? The demo was alot of fun I played for 3 hours wow!!

the demo has no save options, but the full game will allow you to save single player games. The 360 will allow you to save 10 up to ten games at any time, while the PS3 has an unlimited number of allowed saves.

To zoom out, hold the left trigger (on 360) or R2 (on PS3) all the way down. To zoom in, hold it halfway down.

It's a shame that multiplayer games can't be saved, it will probably be a deal breaker for me, which is a shame because I really wanted to buy this game.

I would've bought this game to play online against my brother, so we wouldn't have any problems resuming a game at a later date, but we don't always have a whole 4 hours to spare at once!

There is no save feature in the demo, but there will be in the full version ( for single-player). Though there is a reason why there is no save feature for online. Firaxis realized that on Civ 4, most of the multyplayer games being saved were never continued. The saves never being continued along with the fact that Civ Rev games will be shorter, they decided to cut it.

I could see how that would happen if playing with strangers, but lots of people (like me) want to play with a friend, and do resume saved games (like we currently do with much longer civ 4 games). It really limits the game to the point of making multiplayer unfeasible in many cases if you HAVE to dedicate yourselves (and your respective living rooms, TVs and consoles!) for a 3-4 hour stretch.

Surely it’s better to save the game and risk not continuing it, than to just have to quit mid game? At least let the gamers themselves decide for themselves!

I hate to be on such a downer, I’m huge fan of the series and I love everything they’re doing with CivRev, I was even going to buy an Xbox especially to play it, but I’m really getting it for multiplayer with a friend and we’d rarely be able to dedicate such an uninterrupted stretch of our lives to it, unfortunately, meaning there would be no point in buying it.
:(

I have to confess that out of 10 saved Civ4-Sessions with friends, at most only one has been continued... so i'm alright with them cutting this feature out.
