Is there a way to turn off the Armageddon Counter

Hellos and thank you for any help you might be able to give me.

I made my own map for Fall from Heaven 2 and want to play it as a normal map with out the Armageddon Counter. Is there a way I can turn it off and or remove it from my map? I just want to play the game normaly and take over every thing with war with out the bothersome problems that come with the Armageddon Counter.

No. Im going to try to add that as a game option in "Shadow".

Blah all I have is the gold pack and I though I seen some where that your next version of this would only worth with the newest expesion.

One more quick question. Has any one came up with a program that allows you to build your own races/gods/tec's and what nots in an easy way? I don't know pooh about scripting and it seems you can't do any thing with civ 4 enless you can write script. The civ 3 map makeing seemed to have so many more options for people who didn't know programing.

Scripting isnt really nessesary but you should learn xml. Its not going to be as easy as you'd like (GUI interface) but you can do much more than you ever considered with Civ3 once you get used to it.

I was an English/creative writing/theater majors, every thing I know about computers is self taught. Sadly it don't amount to much. I have always wanted to make my own fantasy mod based on the world I have came up with but as I said I am limited to what I can do with map editors.


Since theres no way to turn the counter off is there maybe a way to put it at neg counters to start?

you could try version 0.16, theres none of the armageddon counter stuff and its fairly polished too.
