The effects of this concept come up in the technical forums on a regular basis, so I was wondering if there is a software option that could engage the "moderate all posts" function for threads that have gone dormant by more than a certain period. FOr example, over 30 days.
We see some of the discussion threads that were current and topical 30, 60, or 90 days ago and then someone will add a post onto the end of the thread that contributes little or nothing to the discussion. One line squeals like "Yeha, this is a neat idea" can resurrect discussions of topics that have long since died and also dredge up really important threads like bug discussions from pre V1.16 (4 patches ago).
In the strategy forums, we see posts like "hmmm, I have to try this" and "I never thought of that" which will give new life to long dead discussions on techniques that are obsolete because the functions no longer work the same way as originally described in the discussion.
