Is there any good unofficial expansion?

BtS is starting to bore me, so I'm looking to expand the game - new traits, buildings, civs, etc.
So I had a look at all the mods available here, but was rather disappointed. Most mods are not what I am looking for.

So is there any mod that could be sold as an official expansion? That is, a mod that only adds realistic features (so no Republic of the Smurfs or sth. like that) and is made at least semi-professionally (good balancing, at least decent new graphics, full Civilopedia articles, etc.).

I'd appreciate any help in finding what I want.

Yeah there is an unofficial expansion made by some Albanian programmers, but its hard to come by.
The cost is about 350 Russian Rubis, and you can find on www.WTH.are.you.talking.about.com or get some Macedonian pirates to smuggle it for you.

I don't think its an illegal request. Fall from Heaven 2 is really the only largely supported mod out there that would qualify as an expansion pack. I suppose it is semi official since they included an FFH scenario on the BtS release, but the FFH2 mod is so much more. If you're not into fantasy, I don't think there is much else out there on that scale. I haven't played Dales Combat mod, but that is the other direction that looks pretty interesting. There are a number of people hard at work on some mods, but when does a mod become an expansion pack?

RFC and FFH are all well balanced, constantly updated, and in the case of FFH, have a great civilopedia and backstory. I fully recommend both.

MODs are not illegal of course, but unofficial expansions that someone actually SELLS are.

it's just word choice, because "unofficial expansion" implies an extension of the game without too much alteration (staying true to the principles of the game - no fantasy, well balanced, focusing on all aspects of the game simultaneously, graphics, and other things he mentioned)
it's still a mod, still legal, just done in a way that it COULD be an expansion

it seems that everyone in this thread understood that what he's looking for is a good mod that does that, not an illegal product
