Is there hope for me?

I first adquired a bad copy of the game, that would not install disk 2, I read a thread about it, and it concluded that it was part of a bad lot.
So I bought another copy, but this its about my graphics card i´m sure

The problem now is when I initialize the game, it loads until it reads done , then blak all black, I can hear music and move the pointer but no graphics.

I have installed the patch, defraged, cleaned up my mem, etc.


It is an ATI mobility radeon 9200 card that I have, I read the threads about the 9000 series, but that did not work for me, can anyone help pls! I would greatly appreciate it!

In the DXdiag it says display memory is 32mb. If that is correct then it is below minimum requirements. (min 64mbVRAM) Also I have Nvidia 64 mb and had to get the latest drivers. Are you set at 1280X800 32 bit. Try reducing that to 1024X764 and reduce from 32 bit to medium 16 bit and turn off sound. All these hinder performance even though you have plenty of RAM your video card is very limited. The game will automatically set the setting to low res to accommodate your card but I think if that's right 32 mb won't be enough. This game is a real memory hog but when I see others with good cards the graphics are quite impressive.

Your graphics driver is rather old. Try finding an updated driver.
