Have you tried it through Opera which has a built in pop-up killer?

I just got Opera 7 and went to the site...amazing! Nothing at all - no annoying message. Opera is now the choice to use...although I wish there would be a popups suppressed count.

Why does everyone forget Netscape when talking of other browsers that block poppups. Unlike Opera it's totally free. With no advertisements.

Sure Netscape has had its problems in the past...but the 7.0 (7.01 and 7.02) have been rock solid for me.

It's also got a built in cookie blocker, download manager, form manager, and password manager.

Plus it supports tabbed browsing, just like Opera...with no price tag, and no ads.

Death to Netscape!! :mwaha:

Long live Opera!! :D

Opera is the first browser I found that made the internet better. So I am sticking with it. And I put my WinAmp window over the banner ;)

I tried Netscape, but from just a few minutes use it annoyed me, register, their tabs. I guess it gets better if I get used to it, but at the moment Opera is good enough.:)

;) Joking of course.

But you should really give Netscape a new look!!

Never!! You have insulted us!! We shall crush you for this!! :mwaha:

Netscape...

God.

I have to use Netscape 4.72 at the school library computers (why don't they install IE??) and it's hell. There's no tabbing and even if you click on a page, it opens a new window and you can see it in the "Go" window. They also uninstalled the AIM client...which is expected.

All it costs is a payment of $2.95 for shipping and they could easily install it on every computer!!

It's just one big banner ad, and I don't mind it.

And everyone keeps on forgetting with mozilla and especially phoenix (now called mozilla firebird). The popup blocking is great, they are both based on gecko (the same thing as netscape), are open-source (netscape isn't, only gecko), have really nice themes, are fully cross-platform, and have sweet extensions that improve their browsers even more (mouse gesture is so much better than with opera). And no advertising banner too...

Whenver I get that message "Popup stopper detected; please disable the..." a big ad comes winging in there, so I see no reason why do they have to do it. They get ad revenue whichever way...

...At least for the IE users.
