I just installed an edition of Civ 4: Complete (the one without Colonization). I've noticed the interesting problem in Vanilla Civ 4 that I can't play mods. I can load them, but the "Play the Game" option is always grayed out. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a solution?

is this true for the mods that come with the game as well?
please open my games\sid meier civilization 4 complete\civilizationIV.ini and set all items with log in their name from 0 to 1
then start the game and a mod and try to go as far as you can, close the game and post all items in
