iTunes store wont connect anymore

This came out of nowhere since the store was fine yesterday. All of a sudden when I try to connect to the store I get this message...

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occurred (11333).

Make sure your network connection is active and try again.

How do I go about checking if the network connection is active?

If you're using the internet, it's active.

Try again later. If it still doesn't work, try troubleshooting then.
