Join In Progress issues.

I've been staring at "Retrieving Host Information" for 30 minutes.

Please Firaxis, fix this. This multi in its current state is ridiculously painful and broken.

If it is an open game then yes you can click on the hosts game and select join game, if it is private then the host has to invite you back.

And of course if you can see the game on your server you can join it that way too. But with Steam regional games list that can be problematic.

i never see the game in progress into the list, i just see new games there

and im talking about same region since i play with some friend

Yes, I believe you are correct sir, I have never been able to see my friends' games in progress nor are we able to rejoin a game in progress after being dropped due to internet disruption. Let's hope they take a sip from the 'cup of human kindness' and add direct ip connect so that we all can completely avoid the steam lobby and play mp in offline mode.

Sorry I meant to say the Hosts name in your friends list or the chat room list. With no lobby alot of fansites have setup steam chat rooms to gather players.

Civplayers has the most active one right now and it is open to all MP players.
