JS Bach's Cathedral

There seems to be a bug with JSBach's Cathedral. I'm playing the English, have Music Theory, an NOT building JSBach anywhere else and am unable to build it in London. I can start it in any other city but London won't accept it (It's grey)

If anyone would like to tell me what I'm doing wrong or check the bug, here's the save

The only thing I can think of is that you have "dirty" shields in the production box in London. All wonders must be built from scratch. If you have hurried production, cut down forest or disbanded units in the city, you can't change production to a wonder.

Does London have any shields already in its box? Did any of those shields come from cutting down a forest, or rushing with money or population? If so, that's why you can't switch to Bach, or any any other wonder. You can't rush a wonder in any way other than a leader, and that means that you can't switch production to a wonder if you already have any rushed shields. Otherwise, you could rush an expensive improvement and then switch to a wonder and have a bunch of quick shields. But it's annoying when ten shields from a chopped forest prevent you from switching to a wonder. The game should let you swich, but lose those ten .

Oh, and if that's not the problem, then I have no idea why you cant' build Bach's.

is that PTW or Civ3? if its Civ3 then i might be able to help you.

Dirty shields is a concept I had not thought of. There may indeed have been such production there because London was able to produce JSBach after finishing its current project.

Yes, sounds like it. Just wait a turn and it will be available again.
