Jurassic Park Interface and Terrain

i dont mean to gripe but i can hardly tell the difference between those mountain and the jungle its really confusing

The way I get rid of problems like that is to either change the size of background file or colour the coloumn of pixels on the background file to match the overlay file, Edit: or just extend the background to the right one more coloumn and leave the pink alone.
Pounder...I tried those and they did not work in this case. I assumed it was a hard coded configuration. Might be good to try again. Odd that this only shows on Scenarios.

Balthasar... Yes, many posts lately so guess we miss a few.

Yeah, it is. If you want to see what it looks like in real life, look for pictures of the Hawaiian island of Kauai, which was where Jurassic Park was filmed (much of it). I did alot of research of types of trees, both tropical & deducious, that live on the island. As for the mountains, all of the mountains on the island are green. This happens on tropical islands, because they're so moist. In fact, Kauai boasts an island peak that it calls "the wettest place on earth" (and here I thought that was found at Jonas Brothers concert).
I tried to make the mountains as distinguishable as possible, but there's only so much that one can do when everything is a different shade of green, and it's all miniaturized to boot.

....and I did pretty extensive testing last night where I changed the transparency index color of, as I recall, everything in the Jurassic Civilopedia folder and most stuff in the default Civpedia folder as well as a few things from the icons folders from magenta to a dark color that would be almost impossible to spot but the game will still display magenta. It's as though its not even glancing at the files...

Pounder... This was my experience as well. I tried every possibility I knew to try and correct this because after all the work on a game and Interface, it annoys me too.
Not exactly sure how "they" managed to goof this up for Scenarios when the Normal Game files are ok but the files are apparently hard coded to "fit" together in a particular position and the position is not correct.

It is a minor one pixel line of Magenta on the right side of all Civilopedia screens but again, after doing a great amount of work and wanting everything to be perfected, I had hope that perhaps I missed something that would correct it. When I discovered this years ago, I was in the middle of too much work to spend more time than I did testing to correct this. All effort failed so I assumed it was a hard coded Error that we have to live with.

Againsttheflow... Nothing will correct it. I tried coloring the Background as well as moving the images and adding to the images. It is all ignored.

Our good friend againsttheflow has done a fix of the minimap that appears on the lower left hand side of the main screen to fix the general readability of the words 'Jurassic Park'. It looks great:

I've already added this and another fix he did which removed the seams in the wood on the Player Setup Screen (take my word for it) to the download file in the Database. If you've already downloaded the interface either separately or as part of Lord Malbeth's download, you can get the patch here. Thanks ATF for the upgrade!
