Just Downloaded Civ4. Weird lines on screen.

I just bought the Civ5 download from Amazon. Installed it on my Macbook Pro (mid 2012) running OS X 10.7.5. And the graphics are screwed with lines showing up on a the main screen and on the leader comm screens. (See attached images)

Any ideas how what I can do to fix?

Yea, that is quite obviously Civ IV. No idea what causes these errors though.

Just realized the images uploaded upside-down. But you can still see the problem. I might just have to go back to Amazon. Bummer.

If your Macbook is one with more than one graphics card option, choose the higher grade one. If not, the intel graphics card may be the trouble. Intel makes crappy graphics cards.
