Key for Switch from Steam?

I have Civ 6 and all the expansions on my PC. I purchased through steam. When I got a Macbook, I was able to log into Steam and install Civ 6 on it using my PC license. Can I do the same for Switch as well, or do I have to buy a Switch specific license from Nintendo or a physical copy? I know iOS annoyingly requires a new purchase. I was hoping not to have to for the switch...

You need a Switch version. The expansions are currently not available on the Switch. You can do cross-platform saves, but only with the vanilla Civ VI on Steam.

Darn. I liked the game, but not enough to buy it (and probably all the expansions) a second time.

Sometimes it is on sale on the e store for about 35 euro. For Switch, this is cheap.
But if you only want mobility and have an iPhone, I would just by the iOS version. It’s cheaper, has R&F and is as stable as the Switch version.
I own both and always play on iOS.
