Civilopedia:
Civilopedia by St. Gelven, this guy is missing for a long time...
The Visigoths, conventionally denoted "West Goths" (as opposed to "East Goths" (Ostrogoths); were one of the loosely-termed
"Germanic peoples" that disturbed the late Roman Empire. After the "fall" of the western Roman Empire, the Visigoths
continued to play a major role in western European affairs for another 250 years.
The Visigoths first appeared in history as a distinct people in the year 268, when they invaded the Roman Empire and swarmed
over the Balkan peninsula. This invasion overran the Roman provinces of Pannonia and Illyricum and even threatened Italia
itself. However, the Visigoths were defeated in battle near the modern Italy-Slovenia border that summer, and then routed
in the Battle of Naissus that September. Over the next three years, they were driven back over the Danube River in a series
of campaigns by the emperors Claudius II Gothicus and Aurelian. However, they maintained their hold on the Roman province of
Dacia, which Aurelian evacuated in 271.
Settled in Dacia, the Visigoths adopted Arianism, a branch of Christianity that believed that Jesus Christ was not an aspect
of God in the Trinity, but a separate being created directly beneath God. This belief was in opposition to the tenets of the
Pauline Christianity that developed into mainstream Catholicism, which achieved a religious monopoly in the 4th and 5th
century. The Spanish Visigoths adhered to Arianism until 589, when King Reccared (Ricardo) I converted his people to
Catholicism. For the role of Arianism in Visigothic kingship, see the entry for Leovigild.

Visigoth Spearman, the UU:
It replaces Spearman, it has one extra offensive point, one extra moviment and cost 10 shields more.

I was going to make my Theodoric era-specific - but I can hold off doing that until you've released yours if you like.

Great information as ever on city lists, civilopedia, leaders, UU.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

I have seen your leaderhead before, it is cool!!! :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:
Mobilize said me he need a Theodoric era specific to be included in 31+ Mod, I thought you would do your Theodoric single era, for this reason I start mine. Maybe I can do another Visigoth leader, so, people will have two options to choice (maybe I can make a leader of other era).
I took the treat from a scenario that came with PTW, I think it is good, use that too to your Visigoths. ;)

There's no copyright on Theodoric, it doesn't matter if you do him or another leader. People will name them whatever they like when it goes into their mods anyway - take the Uther leaderhead (my avatar) - that's being used for Germany, Belgium and fantasy mods - in fact I think I'm the only one using him for Cornwall!

I'll continue the leaderhead with Visigoth characteristics, two Visigoth leaders could be useful in some mods :D People can use it as another barbarian tribe leader too, the single rule in CFC is "have a fun time"

@CivArmy

will the completion of your and R8XFT Theodoric be a hipe for the CivArmy vs R8XFT ?

No, the "CivArmy vs. R8XFT: battle of creators" shows 8 of mine civis and 8 of his civis in a mod, none Theodoric is present in the mod, maybe in future versions, but not now.

I change his name, now, the Visigoths have them correct leader. Since R8FTX draw Theodoric, he could change the name of his civ to Ostrogoths (no more Visigoths), since Theodoric is not king of Visigoths ;)
