Krakatoa - The mostly useless Natural Wonder!

Careful what you wish for. The other thing about Krakatoa is it exploded. It's disappointing that it doesn't do that in the game.

Having been there, it doesn't provide a lot of benefit to the local economy

If they were to mimic it in Civ V:

Effect of Krakatoa Erupting: All cities within 3 hexes destroyed

All tiles on the map produce 1 less food for 20 years.

I've got The Great Barrier Reef in my borders before.

The source files show conditions for placing the Natural Wonders.

Krakatoa requires lots of ocean, so it does often end up not-accessible (not-workable by any cities).

Great Barrier Reef checks in extra ring of tiles (compared to other Natural Wonders) and can *only* be placed if a piece of land is within 3 tiles.
