Could someone please edit the multiplayer to allow for the use of MODS? I know this may be a hassel when playing over the net but it could make LAN (where we can easily coordinate which mods are loaded) Sooo much better. We lan players want to be able to play the expansion civs... We want to be able to use all these greats mods that other players are using in single player mode while playing across the room from each other in LAN parties. My GF and I have edited things already so we know it can be done. Adding CIVs is a bit complicated though and tends to create errors in the in game displays. This is why we are asking someone experienced to help.
Simple Outline
We would like more civs to choose from added into the Multiplayer Lan menu. We can follow basic instructions . (where to unzip what files) , It is knowing which files in total to append and in what way that is stopping us. We do understand that making the MOD Menu and system of the game may be too complicated but we are asking for DIRECT Editing of the files.
Our Lan club in CT US is Dying due to these factors. Please someone be the Hero of LAN! We beg of you.
