LAN Problems

I'm having trouble getting a LAN game going. We're both fully patched and the game is allowed through our firewalls, we just can't see eachothers games when we try to make them. Anyone know what's up?

Try connecting via "Direct IP". If that doesnt work it would seem there are still some issues in your LAN setup.

For LAN games you need to have both computers connected to the same home network. You can always play a regular "Internet" game, and if you only want to play with your friend simply password protect it. All you need is for both of you to create Gamespy IDs.

I'm also having problems playing a LAN game. My boyfriend and I set up a wireless network between our two laptops, we're both running Vista. We've allowed Civ 4 through our firewall, and then even tried turning the firewalls off completely. However when one of us creates a game in the LAN option, its not showing on the others. Please help?
