LAN question

Is it possible in any way to play a LAN game with only one [set] CIV4 CD(s)? I am pretty sure that there is a copy-protection on these disks, but I figure there might be some other fancy loophole, like making use of Virtual PCs, or remotely acessing one machine with another (which seems like it would be more possible with macs if it has two core processors)

The BtS patch 3.19 removes the copy protection at all.

And else, you should be able to take the CD out after starting the game.
