Language Patch

Don't know if anyone can point me in the right direction... I switched over to Civ IV and gave my copy of Civ III (vanilla) to my wife's brother. He loves the game BUT he's in Russia and speaks english but not well enough to really understand everything. Is there some kind of russian language patch or would I need to see if CivIII was released in Russian and simply get that for his birthday?

Apparently there's some way to get the game running in Russian, but I think you need to buy the game in Russia, as I don't think there's a patch. I was just surfing around and came upon this Russian Civ site, CIVru. Based on one of their screenshots, it seems you can get it to work in Russian. You might ask your wife's brother to post on that forum and see if he can get a response.
