Does anyone have some good information on the relative capability of laptop gfx cards? Can't decide whether to spring for a 8800m, or take the ATI route, etc...

The nVidia route is probably best right now. The 8800m is the most powerful laptop gfx card you can get now and Im sure it will function quite well. Better than anything ATi has out right now.
