I have an onboard graphics card on my laptop and wanted to know if it will run Civ4 ok. It is a "Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS.910GML Express Chipset" adapter with 128MB RAM.
Does anyone know if this is suitable?
Cheers.

the issue is does it have T&L capabilities. Supposedly the 915 integrated graphics does, so you shouldn't have the chesire cat/ black ground issue. However i would serisously do some checking around on the forums to be sure.

With 128MB of ram your performance is going to be absolutely terrible. I would go with at least a gig.

I have the 845g integrated graphics, and something like 700+MB of ram, and altough i do have the chesire cat (used the workaround for the terrain) problem, i am actually able to play decently. A little choppy, and somewhat slow in the end game. This is on huge map with 15+ opponents.

So I would say you shouldn't have a problem running the game as long as you upgrade your ram

Thanks for the reply.
the 128MB is the RAM dedicated to the graphics adapter. the Laptop itself has 512MB.
