well, civ iv plays great on my desktop, and enjoying it very much.
I would also like to play on my laptop for when I can't use the desktop, however, my laptop is about 4 years old and meets all the required specs, but the video card is an ATI Mobility M6. While it will run the game, the terrain comes up as total blackness except for the coastline swirls (from the waves) and special features on terrain (cows, horses, etc). If you zoom out enough, the blackness will be replaced by the terrain like that of the world map, but it's a bit small.
So, does anyone know of a way to get around this? or is there a graphics mod that would change it to be viewable?
