Am I the only one annoyed by how hard it is to select a unit in the tile above a large unit (such as Acheron or Hyborem)? Is there a way to fix this, without simply not having large units?

use ctrl+arrows to rotate camera, very easy and common solution, comes with bts ;)

I'm pretty sure that you've been able to rotate the screen like this since vanilla Civ IV was first released. I did it a few times just playing around when I first got Civ IV, and then more often recently when dealing with oversized units (mostly Frost Giants, in my modmod).

You can't just download BTS, mainly because it would be too big a download.

You'll have to buy it at a local computer store or something.

look for it, it came with FFH2 versions .30+ i think. its like, the most boring mod ever though

I think you'd better reword that because it sounds like you're saying FFH2 is the most boring mod ever.

I'm not really sure what you're intending to say though.

Actually, I'm pretty sure one can download it on steam. I don't think BtS is worth it though except that it lets one play new versions of various mods (such as this one).

I also find that zooming the camera out a bit with my mousewheel helps. I get tend to get disoriented if I rotate the camera.

What, you don't?

lol
people didnt understood what i mean... Rotation is feature u can use in any civ4 based game (when i told BTS i meant Civ4 BTS vanilla, no mods)
That means in FfH too.
So funny to see people that thinking me telling ffh sucks. You should drink something, or smoke... just open ur mind alittle, lol

cntr+ Arrows
Civ4, BtS, Ffh. ANy Civ4 mod. :D

I believe most comments were pointed at A_Hamster, because of people not realizing he was making the common "BtS is a mod of FfH" joke, and instead thought he was talking about pirating the Expansion
Yes, I thought the smilie would have made it obvious, but ...

Anyway, some people got the joke. (And as I've mentioned before, for me "BtS is a mod of FfH" is true. I bought BtS to play this mod since BtS did not interest me that much, and I was happy enough with Warlords.)

You can get BtS from Steam, and it's less than half the price or buying retail in Australia. If you play vanilla civ4 it's a nice upgrade, but I don't know if it will have any effect on FfH.

Indeed, if you're into vanilla, it adds a lot of cool stuff. Adds the Babylonians, Byzantines, Ethiopians, Holy Romans, Khmer, Mayan, Native Americans, Dutch, Portuguese and Sumerians... new wonders, new events, new units... espionage, advanced start, corporations...

Lots of content. If Civ IV vanilla is worth buying, so is BtS. And there are torrents if you're less scrupulous and don't mind 1 GB downloads.
