Last version of CP with EUI included and working?

Good afternoon all.

I've recently picked Civilization 5 back up, and want to use the CP and EUI again but not VP. I know the more recent versions of CP only are NOT compatible with EUI, so was wondering if someone could point me to which older version of CP on GitHub I could download that does include a working (and older) version of EUI?

If of course those older versions will still work on the latest Steam version of Civ 5, although I'm not adverse to looking into a fixed, offline version of Civ 5 at the right patch level.

I appreciate your help!

Only versions 1.0 and later are currently downloadable on GitHub and I believe compatibility was broken before then.

We will eventually make it compatible, but that's a long way away, unfortunately.

Considering how old the game and the mods are now, why only VP was made compatible? And you really intend to still make the base mod compatible?

I tried to follow the instruction to make the 2 mods compatible posted in the previous message but the instruction are very confusing.

Because UI work is hard and the number of people who know how to do it are limited. Additionally bc1's code is difficult to edit.

Dev resources have pretty much entirely been going towards the integration of the 4UC mod, and some substantial UI redesigns are planned as part of this. Compatibility of Community Patch Only (which is played by far fewer people) with EUI - or more likely, a custom version of EUI - is still on the todo list, but it's low priority and a ways off.

Understood. Thanks for the reply.
