latest patch

When the latest patch was released i was unable to complete the download in game and out of game due to some unknown error. If u guys can help me out in any way id love to be back online

Me as well, I am unable to install the 1.52 patch.. I have tried through the game`s update section and downloading always fail at the end.

I have also downloaded the patch from the official website, and when trying to install it, it get this following error message :
The Compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted..


any idea ?

But there's one very interesting moment:
some time ago i've succesfully installed 1.09 patch, and the game patched without any problems. But when i reinstalled the game i can't apply not only 1.52 patch, but 1.09 as well, so i've stayed with civ without any patches

Hi guys, what I did was:
- download the patch 1.52 from the website
http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/news.htm
(download section)
- place the zip file in the directory of civ 4 (firaxis / civ 4)
- double click with Izarc to decompress
- install everything including Xfire
I didn't have any problems with this, maybe something went wrong during the download of the zipped file ?
Try it again, it's about 45 MB if I remember correctly...
