I've been getting this message in my Bulk Mail folder lately. Usually I don't share stuff like this, but this is too funny...spammers trying to impersonate "Failure Deliveries."

Yeah I got a few of those every so often. Funny to see. Through from what I have read they sometimes contain a virus.

I think its as a result of a virus - if you read the message, it will probably say something like 'delivery failed, see attached transcript for details', inviting you to open teh attachment, which is a virus. See how they are all 42 kB messages? A real delivery failure wouldn't be that big.

ainwood - I dunno if it's a virus. It just had a link in the message. There were no images in it (unless they were invisible). I have Yahoo's SpamFilter to block images from any suspected email, but it doesn't work too well. Just today I opened up a spam message that Yahoo didn't block.

The message inside is weird, I don't know what it means:

Could very well be. This article shows how easy it is to mask URLs in emails and online. Even when it looks obvious, it may not be.

As for stupid spam, have you heard about the new nigerian one going around? It sounds like they're the authorities over there, and they want your bank info so they can track who's taken what.... saw that one over at Snopes.com.
