Launched too early?

Yeah, I do agree that there is a "small minority" (quite large outside of just this forum) with problems, but, I'm one of the lucky ones who got the game working out of the box. True, the game has caused some lagging or hardware issues, and it may have been designed to waste more of the users power than it should, but nothing that can't be ironed out in a patch (well, it did take a few patches and expansions for Firaxis to fix the inital Civ III product...)

Maybe it's an inconvience, too, but I have seen people complaining of the quality due to their own hardware. Like I said, the games wasting of resources will probably be helped with a patch or two, but otherwise it's the inconvience of technology changing at work. Ah, well.

Lmao 3.5 hours to not figure out the disks are incorrectly labled.

LMAO @ people like YOU who don't even have the courtesy to READ the thread properly, when it was stated that he could not get his DVD to be accepted!

What exactly are you basing things on that you conclude only a "small minority" are having problems.

It seems to me there is a good number of people having problems with this game, its not some isolated problem, there is enough people having problems that is serious concern.

If they did proper beta testing I don't see how they could have released the game in this state. Now if they did do proper beta testing and were aware of these problems ahead of time but released the game just to meet the Christmas rush then for shame....
